Shadows and Dust
Kimpar wood is a vine that grows underground. While alive it is supple and light brown, but after it dries, the sap, a very fluid black liquid, dries to the color of steel with a similar hardness. Left to die and rot in nature, the sap slowly drains out of the roots. However, when cut and dried under a process developed by the Gimmla, it cures into items that are as hard as steel. These are usable for everything you would use steel for, provided you don’t need to cut its original casing until after it dries.
